Itineraries suggested to the landing beaches

One day tour is just fine to discover the landing beaches and to give you a general picture of this great military operation.

People coming to Normandy to visit the landing sites are usually amazed at learning that the distances to be covered are long.
The front assault, where the D-Day operations took place, is 80 miles wide with the 5 landing beaches and beyond the 2 flanking airborne areas west and east.
Up to 5 days may be necessary to cover the whole area and stay a reasonable amount of time on the worthy sites.

If you spend more than one day in the area and want a guide for one day only, we would recommend that you visit museums another day, on your own.

Below, are suggestions of itineraries only ; the programme is not set : we are very flexible and can suit your personal wishes to build up like an “à la carte” itinerary.
Depending on your interest and time, it is possible to combine sites from both itineraries, or/and include the visit of museums, or/and sites that are not related to WWII.
